Cappy Camera Instructions

Put your phone away. Pick up a camera.

Cappy Camera is built to be simple.
No screen. No settings. Just point, shoot, and be present.


 

1. Unboxing & Setup

In the box

Cappy Camera

USB-C charging cable

32GB SD card (pre-installed)

Before frst use

Charge the camera for 4 hours


 

2. Powering On & Off

Power On

Press and hold the Power/Flash button (back, top left) for 3 seconds

Green + Blue lights turn solid

Camera is ready to shoot

Power Off

Press and hold the Power/Flash button for 3 seconds

All lights turn off


 

3. Taking Photos

Take a photo

Press and release the shutter button (quick press)

What happens:

Photo is captured instantly

Green light flashes once

Image saves automatically

Important

Wait for the green light to return to solid before moving the camera


 

4. Recording Video

Start recording

Press and hold the shutter button for 3 seconds

You’ll hear a single beep

Green light flashes continuously

Stop recording

Press and release the shutter button (quick press)

Green light stops flashing

Camera returns to ready mode (solid green + blue)

Notes

Flash does not work during video

Keep movement slow and steady for best results


 

5. Flash

Turn flash ON / OFF

Quick press the Power/Flash button

Flash indicators

Green + Blue + White light = flash is active

Low light

6. Filters

The filter switch is on the back (top right)

4 positions (left → right):

1.Vintage

2.Black & White

3.Soft Tones

4.Vivid

Slide to select your look before shooting.


 

7. Battery & Charging

Charging

Plug into USB-C port

Charging indicators

Green solid + Blue flashing → charging

Blue solid (no flashing) → fully charged


 

Battery Levels

Full / normal - Green + Blue solid

~50% battery - Orange + Green + Blue solid

~10% battery - Red + Green + Blue solid

<5% battery - Red flashing


 

8. LED Quick Reference

Green + Blue (solid) → Ready

Green flashing → Recording video

Green flash (once) → Photo captured

Blue flashing (plugged in) → Charging

Orange solid → ~50% battery

Red solid → ~10% battery

Red flashing → Very low battery

Green + Blue + White → Flash ON


 

9. Transferring Photos & Videos

Option 1 — USB-C Cable

Plug camera into computer or phone

Open file browser

Find drive named “NONAME”

Open folders to access files


 

Option 2 — SD Card

Push SD card to release

Remove from camera

Insert into computer or phone

Open:

Files → NONAME drive


 

10. Storage

Includes 32GB SD card

Holds approx. 20,000 photos (less with video)

Recommended max card size:

128GB

Important

Do NOT insert SD card into the function/filter slot


 

11. Function (Filter) Card Slot

Located on the side of the camera

Used for filter expansion cards

How it works

Insert card → all 4 filters change

Example: “Moody” card → all filters become moody styles

To reset

Remove the card


 

12. Accessory Lenses

Attach lens

Screw into front threaded opening

Viewfinder

Shows an approximation of framing

Lens types

Wide angle → more in frame

Fisheye → curved, tighter look


 

13. Changing the Case

Remove case

Open the two magnetic flaps (bottom)

Lift front cover

Remove case

Install new case

1. Pre-fold along crease lines

2. Wrap around camera

3. Align: The lens, flash and shutter button

4. Close and secure magnetic flaps


 

14. Ports & Layout

USB-C → charging + file transfer

SD card slot → storage

Function slot → filter cards


 

15. Usage Notes

Water resistant, not waterproof

Do not use in heavy rain or submersion

No screen by design, results are part of the experience


 

16. Tips for Better Photos & Video

Use flash for that classic disposable camera look

Shoot during golden hour (sunrise/sunset)

Keep camera steady when shooting

Let subjects move instead of the camera during video

Don’t rush, timing improves results
