It’s super easy to use the Cappy Camera! First, make sure it’s powered on—there are two "on" modes: one with flash and one without (just use the switch on the back of the camera). Once you’re all powered up, you’re ready to snap away! Just press the shutter button on the front to take a photo. Feeling like capturing some video magic? Simply press and hold that shutter button, and it’ll record as long as you hold it down.
The Cappy Camera's got your back with handy LED light indicators to keep you in the loop on your battery status! Here’s the breakdown:
- Solid Blue: Fully charged and ready to go (when connected to a charger).
- Flashing Blue: Charging up (when connected to a charger).
- Solid Yellow: You’re at medium power (50% – 20%), still plenty of snap-time left!
- Flashing Yellow: Heads up! You’re running low (below 20%), time to find a charger soon.
- Solid Red: Uh-oh! Critically low (below 5%), better juice up ASAP!

All your Cappy Camera photos are safely stored on an SD card, making them super easy to access! You can use the included transfer and charging cable to connect the camera to your device, or simply pop the SD card out and use an SD card reader for your phone, tablet, or computer. It's quick, simple, and your memories are just a few clicks away!

Cappy Camera cases are water-resistant, which means they’ll protect your camera from rain, light splashes, and everyday elements with their enclosed sides. However, they’re not designed for underwater adventures, so keep your Cappy dry when it comes to deep dives! Perfect for rainy days, but maybe not for swimming pools!

Nope! The base Cappy Camera comes with everything you need to start snapping right out of the box. Extra lenses are totally optional and just for added creative effects. You don’t need them to enjoy your Cappy Camera—they're just there if you want to take your photos to the next level!

We’re on track to receive our cameras in mid-November and will begin shipping orders shortly after. The images on our website are computer-generated based on the prototype of our current model. While the overall shape, enclosed sides, and prints will remain exactly as you see them, we are continuously testing and refining key components, such as lenses and flashes, to ensure the highest image quality. We’re also perfecting the fit and materials of the cases. Small details may differ slightly from the mockups, but rest assured, we’re committed to delivering the best version possible. Any updates will be shared on our website and via email as we progress.
Right now, we’re focused on perfecting the built-in camera settings and the cases to ensure the best possible experience. Once these are finalized, we’ll shift our attention to additional accessories like filters, lens covers, straps, and lenses.
