Cappy Camera exists because we spent years in the camera business and saw exactly what worked, what customers loved, and what kept getting in the way.
Before Cappy Camera, our team sold cameras across different eras of the category, from disposable film cameras to modern digital models. We saw the appeal firsthand: people wanted something simple, fun, and different from taking endless photos on a phone. But we also saw the problems. Film was expensive and wasteful. Digital products were often limited by decisions outside our control. If you rely on someone else for supply, pricing, and product direction, you can only take that experience so far.
So we decided to build something of our own.
Cappy Camera is the result of years spent selling and distributing cameras, then taking what we learned and creating a better experience around it.
